VL: Final

The heavy type poster is based around statistics that are positive and negative this is showing antithesis. Everything in orange are what Mexican Americans are concerned about and everything in blue are what Mexican Americans are dealing with today. I am explaining by if you vote you can change this negative statistics.

This is an image of an altar for Day of the Dead. This poster is a pun because under vote is the subtext alter the future. There is also a short timeline of historical events that affected Mexican Americans over the past several years. It shows how they have overcome so many obstacles and I am pushing towards your ancestors have changed the past and now you should change the future.

VL: Tropes

For these certain sketches I was using the image and the words as puns. The images are altars and the copy is alter the future.

For the second poster I am using antithesis. I am using this by my two contrasting ideas. Those ideas are the text in the orange are what Mexican Americans are worried about or express an interest in. All the rest of the text are statistics about what is happening now. I am showing this to explain to my target audience that they can change all the negative statistics about them by coming together and voting.
