Yes, the way I was going with this is to feel very negative. Since this was an old vintage camera I wanted to show and express a history by showing the image being dark and the lens looks like its been burned or damaged I was expressing the maybe the cameras past or history.

First of all, nice imagery. This will be fun to manipulate!

As the "Addresser" I feel that you have rendered this photo to make the "Receiver" me feel that this is a somber little camera lens, yet with curvature and color that expose many beautiful intricacies. It's grungy detail tells a very personal story, one that is evidence for many years of hard work... a story that I will explore and dissect in the process phase.

When I first looked at this lens I felt coldness and emptiness, but as I looked deeper I think there is more to the story... maybe this camera has many secrets he wants to reveal? Perhaps he has taken many photos of families and seen the best and the worst times. When I think of this lens in that context I feel that there is now more to the story and I am now starting to see aesthetic qualities that were not there before I juxtaposed it next to these scenarios.

This camera lens is blunt which points to a negative feel, but ... it has positive potential.
